You may think you are a ‘good’ person but…
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23
…no one does good, not even one.
Romans 3:12b
Going to church is not enough either.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9
You are ‘too bad’ you say?
For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.
Matthew 9:13b
This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
1 Timothy 1:15a
Jesus did not come to save the ‘good’ people – He came to save sinners.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
Too young? Too old? Life mixed-up right now?
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
…behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
2 Corinthians 6:2b
Ok..now what? How can you accept Jesus Christ – to be forgiven, to have eternal life…?
Are you ready to take the most important step of your life?
If you are and you understand what you have read, then all you have to do is ask Him to save you. Pray the prayer that follows or use your own words from your heart.
Now that you have prayed the prayer, what’s next?
Welcome to God’s family!
The next step is to tell someone about your new faith in Christ. Find a local church to help you grow in your faith, to worship, and for fellowship with other believers. Spend time with God every day by reading and studying the Bible, praying to God to help you grow in your faith and trust in Him.
Remember that salvation is a gift and a way of life. God has given us this plan because He loves us so much and does not wish that we should perish-but live forever…
Yes, Eric, I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Please pray for me.
